by Luke.

A pure rock and roll album somewhere between The Atari's and kick ass. The first song, "Devotion" includes a handclap session reminiscient of "That Thing You Do" from the same titled movie...so cliche but still catchy. The vocals reminded me of Greg Graffin, but hardcore Bad Religion fans would probably disagree. The Stereo carries the pop punk rock well, but then you hear the opening chords to "Please Try To Understand" on the piano! It's a bit too repetitive to deserve great fanfare but it's an excellent effort at piano pop. I suggest you listen to "Devotion" and "Ramona," if you don't care for these songs you may have cerebral disabilities, so get that checked out before you do anything rash and regret it later.
