The Stereo is now defunct...no they aren't...yes they are. Don't ask us. No one really knows. But this new album is an ass kicker. It's got hooks and rhythms that are pure rock and will engage you in endless head-bobbing. It's fair to say that every song on this album is great and has a saucy sound to it, they're either drenched with staccato riffs, acoustic guitars, melodic lyrics, or fun percussive tools. This album is a testament to the dying art of pure, catchy, honest rock. Although it is, for all intents and purposes, a three-chord punk rock album, it captures something that has been gone from the scene (ala Weezer) for quite some time. The best tracks are "Get Set for Sound," and "Can't Look Back." I do suggest you pick this bubble gum gem up.
