Nothing shocking here people. The music isn't surprisingly innovative, but it matches the sounds of Staind, so I don't know why Swell isn't doing MTV Unplugged. Maybe they will be in a few months. The combination of mellow acoustics and tickled electrics with some piano along the way (not to mention freaky electronics on "...A Velvet Sun"). This album combines the subtle monotone sadness of bands like Staind with an electronica sound on some songs. It's not really pushing the envelope as far as musical revolutions go...but it may be helping the slower evolution progress.
