This review is a little late, but better late than never. I always passed Coldplay off as one of the Radiohead wannabes (ex. Travis, Coldplay, blah blah blah). But then I figured I'd give them a shot. Low and behold, they've got some substance. "Don't Panic" and "Shiver" are the two outstanding songs on this record (excluding the singles "Yellow" and "Trouble").
If you tend to discredit Radiohead wannabes (as I do), but still enjoy drool brit-pop with amazing vocals pick this album up. It's only 10 songs though, one of them being less than 50 seconds long - c'mon fellas, give us more bang for our buck.
