There is still no praise for the common place.
Nothing soars, nothing sings, nothing moves, it all just sits.
Pedro the Lion, and John Vanderslice take a dip in a pool of banality.
These are headlines that popped through my head upon listening to Valet's Life on the Installment Plan, it all just seems to add up to a lazy performance for the indie pop fan's eardrums, and I don't bite. True it is the perfect set up, guitar, bass, drums, slick vocals, but it all comes off too clean. So really all I have to say, is nice try Valet and four little points for you, and hopefully next time they listen to some Beulah before attempting some indie pop.
