Providence, Rhode Island's Get Him Eat Him has recently teamed up with Catbird Records (from The Catbirdseat blog fame) to release a brilliant four track EP that is by far one of my favorite releases of 2006 (only 16 days in are we? that's 1/24th!).
Each EP is enclosed in a hand screened arigato sleeve and include a nifty googly-eyed insert. I had originally thought of writing to have them send me an EP for review, but being that they were only making 200 of them, I immediately purchased - there's nothing like helping out new great bands, but I have a feeling these guys won't need help. The hand-made case is what lured me in, but the music is why keep listening.
You can download the title track, Exposure, from the Get Him Eat Him web site (I recommend doing so now). The band's poppy/indie sound is worth taking a listen and check out some of their older releases while you're at it.
